Tutoring
(both neuro-typical and non-neuro-typical students)
Mr. Chris works with young learners and students, all the way up through high school. He offers Pre-K and Kindergarten Tutoring as well as Elementary School Tutoring to build a strong learning foundation early on. Mr. Chris also offers comprehensive tutoring across all school subjects.
It is his firm belief, established through both observation and experience, that one-on-one teaching is an excellent way to bolster one's learning; for as much as the broad curricula of the day is expertly designed to fit the learning needs of the masses, it will, by nature, leave gaps in the micro-cognition of each student. This is where Mr. Chris comes in: to fill those gaps.
Every student learns differently, takes in the world around them differently, and manifests that information differently. No one teaching method could ever account for the infinite variable of personality; hence the importance of one-on-one teaching. Mr. Chris approaches student with the understanding that they will not all be the same, and that each requires consideration for their respective characters, abilities, and desires. He believes the true knowledge is in understanding the process of answering a question, and just knowing the answer is not enough. He works with students to recognize errors, and to help students be able to answer questions by themselves.
